We are thrilled to extend this exclusive invitation to you for a fabulous occasion that celebrates art, love, and inclusivity! We are celebrating our “You Belong” billboard campaign and wearable art.
We cordially invite you to join us at this event which will take place on Friday, November 10th, 2023. The event will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the prestigious Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art, located at 421 Cawston Ave #103, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6Z1 on the unceded territory of the Syilx people and Okanagan Nation.
Your attendance and participation in this event will go a long way in supporting our mission to spread love and positivity throughout the Okanagan. To help us make this vision a reality, we kindly request a $20 donation per ticket via the registration link. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Donations may also be made at the door.
As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, non-alcoholic beverages and treats will be served on a donation basis, with all proceeds going to Free Parent Hugs Kelowna.
The evening promises to be a delightful gathering filled with creativity, inspiration, and solidarity. Witness the breathtaking art design that graces digital billboards in West Kelowna and Lake Country, sending a powerful message of support and acceptance for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Get the first look and an opportunity to purchase wearable art created from the designs of artist Sarah Jones. Uplifting music will be provided by local musician Muireann Meiklejohn.
