Ashur Khoshaba brings more than 20 years of experience in client relations, revenue generation, training, and organizational problem-solving across the airline, insurance, and nonprofit sectors. Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Ash immigrated with his family to Western Canada in the early 1980s and later settled in Ontario, where he built a career centered on service excellence, relationship management, and delivering measurable results.
Throughout his career with organizations including Air Canada, RBC Insurance, and Porter Airlines, Ash has consistently demonstrated an ability to build trust, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and identify opportunities for organizational growth. His experience includes generating significant revenue through sales and recovery initiatives, leading training and development programs, improving business processes, and navigating complex client and regulatory environments.
In addition to his corporate experience, Ash has contributed his time and expertise to the nonprofit sector through his involvement with Dress for Success, where he supported efforts to empower individuals through confidence-building, professional development, and community connection. This experience deepened his appreciation for the importance of sustainable funding, volunteer engagement, and mission-driven leadership.
