I joined Advocacy Canada's board of directors in 2023 because I had seen Wilbur participating in and leading so many advocacy and activism events in Kelowna, my hometown. I discovered that Advocacy Canada was an opportunity for me to be at the center of 2SLGBTQIA advocacy here. Wilbur is an inspiration to me, and a defender of marginalized people. I'm grateful and proud to work with him.
