Amber Hall brings extensive experience in organizational leadership, governance, and community development to her role as Vice President of Governance & Strategy at Advocacy Canada. A strong advocate for inclusive leadership, Amber’s dedication to ensuring that equity, transparency, and accountability are at the heart of her work.

During her tenure as President of the Greater Westside Board of Trade, Amber championed diversity, equity, and inclusion by introducing DEI training and establishing annual governance training for directors. She also served on the Bylaw Task Force, where she played a key role in updating bylaws to include more inclusive and respectful language.

Amber’s commitment to inclusivity extends beyond policy—she was the first President to create an advisory Director seat for the Kelowna Pride Society and The Kelowna Metis Society to strengthen collaboration and representation across communities. She also worked closely with the Appointee Director from Westbank First Nation to ensure that best practices and respectful protocols guided the organization’s governance and partnerships.

In her role with Advocacy Canada, Amber focuses on strategic planning, governance excellence, and community collaboration. Driven by both compassion and practicality, she is known for her approach to problem-solving and her dedication to creating spaces where diverse voices are valued and heard. Beyond her governance work, she continues to advocate for meaningful community engagement, inclusive leadership, and sustainable organizational growth.
