Sunny Side Out Community Breakfast
Advocacy Canada
You’re invited to Sunny Side Out, Kelowna’s monthly community Pride breakfast.
Sunny Side Out is a reinvention of the 50+ Pride Breakfasts we’ve hosted over the past couple of years. This gathering will continue to honour our community elders while offering a chance to dismantle intergenerational barriers, guided by our commitment to building an inclusive community where people feel connected and a sense of belonging.
It’s a safe space for adults of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions to gather over a healthy meal and enjoy each other’s company. 2SLGBTQIA+ community members and allies are invited to join us for this monthly opportunity to be curious in conversation, to learn from elders and younger generations alike, and to support and get to know one another.
We’re so grateful to Clay and Sal at the Bike Shop Cafe and Catering for opening their restaurant exclusively for our monthly breakfast. Each ticket includes a choice of breakfast sandwich, a fruit cup, and tea or coffee. GF options available. Guests are welcome to purchase additional items like lattes or mimosas.
The address is 1357 Ellis St., Kelowna.
Our events are ticketed on a pay-what-you-can basis to keep them accessible to everyone. The suggested ticket price is $15.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors program.
Please add your ticket(s) at the registration link, as space is limited. Registering ensures you have a seat and lets our hosts know how many guests to expect and prepare for. You can pay via card now or by cash or card at the door.
