Alan Gonzales (he/him/his) is the Manager of BC Settlement and Projects at KCR Community Resources, where he leads several major newcomer programs, including BC Newcomer Services (NSP), SAFE HAVEN, and the Migrant Worker Support Project. With a professional background in marketing and project management, Alan brings over a decade of experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, including award-winning campaigns in the Philippines.

Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from the University of the Philippines Manila. A proud first-generation immigrant and member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, he is deeply committed to creating inclusive, equitable spaces where newcomers can thrive. Alan lives in Kelowna with his partner Aidan and their cat Mya Papaya.
